Sobrassada
4 ounces, spreadable
Bread
4 slices (preferably rustic or artisan)
Arugula
1 cup, washed and dried
Tomato
1 large, sliced
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Salt
to taste
Black pepper
to taste

Instructions

  1. Spread the sobrassada evenly on two slices of bread, ensuring a generous layer for maximum flavor.
  2. In a pan over medium heat, add the olive oil and allow it to heat up.
  3. Carefully place the bread slices with sobrassada in the pan, cooking until the sobrassada begins to melt and the bread is golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Once toasted, remove the bread from the pan and layer the sliced tomato and arugula on top of the sobrassada.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste for an extra kick.
  6. Top with the remaining slices of bread, press gently to create a compact sandwich, and serve immediately.
