Servings: 4

Ingredients

Spaghetti
12 ounces
Solo garlic
6 cloves, minced
Olive oil
1/4 cup
Salt
to taste
Black pepper
to taste
Fresh parsley
1/4 cup, chopped
Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup, grated

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  2. While the spaghetti is cooking, pour the olive oil into a large pan and heat over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced solo garlic to the pan and sauté for about 2-3 minutes, or until the garlic turns golden brown. Be careful not to burn it, as burnt garlic can become bitter.
  4. Once the spaghetti is done, reserve 1 cup of the pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
  5. Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with the sautéed garlic and toss to combine, ensuring the spaghetti is well coated in the garlic oil.
  6. If the pasta seems dry, gradually add a bit of the reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
  7. Season the pasta with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the pasta in individual dishes, generously topped with grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of chopped parsley for freshness.
