Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
- While the spaghetti is cooking, pour the olive oil into a large pan and heat over medium heat.
- Add the minced solo garlic to the pan and sauté for about 2-3 minutes, or until the garlic turns golden brown. Be careful not to burn it, as burnt garlic can become bitter.
- Once the spaghetti is done, reserve 1 cup of the pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
- Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with the sautéed garlic and toss to combine, ensuring the spaghetti is well coated in the garlic oil.
- If the pasta seems dry, gradually add a bit of the reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
- Season the pasta with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve the pasta in individual dishes, generously topped with grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of chopped parsley for freshness.
Tips
- For a touch of heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when sautéing the garlic.
- Feel free to add seasonal vegetables like cherry tomatoes or spinach for added color and nutrition.
- This dish pairs beautifully with a crisp green salad or a side of garlic bread.
