Ingredients
- Lemon zest
- zest of 3 lemons
- Water
- 2 cups
- Sugar
- 1 cup

Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of sugar and 2 cups of water. Heat over medium flame until the sugar completely dissolves, making sure to stir frequently.
- Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and finely grated zest of 3 lemons.
- Allow the mixture to cool completely. Once cooled, strain the mixture to remove the lemon zest, ensuring a smoother sorbet.
- Pour the strained mixture into an ice cream maker. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for churning time.
- Once churned, transfer the sorbet into a lidded container. Freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up before serving.
- Serve the sorbet in chilled bowls or glasses for an extra refreshing experience.
