Spaetzle
Spaetzle are traditional German egg noodles that are light, fluffy, and incredibly versatile. Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 3 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons (for serving) Unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons (for garnish) Chopped fresh parsley

Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and nutmeg.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and milk together until well combined.
- Gradually add the egg mixture to the flour mixture, stirring until a thick, sticky batter forms.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Using a spaetzle maker or a colander with large holes, press the batter through into the boiling water. Alternatively, you can drop small spoonfuls of batter directly into the water.
- Cook the spaetzle for about 2-3 minutes, or until they float to the surface. Remove them with a slotted spoon and transfer to a bowl.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and toss the cooked spaetzle to coat.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
