Instructions

  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a plate.
  3. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the remaining chopped onion and sauté until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the tomato sauce and chopped basil, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.
