Ingredients
- Milk
- 2 cups
- Espresso or strong coffee
- 1 cup
- Cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons
- Ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon
- Ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon
- Ground chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon
- Vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon
- Honey or sugar
- 2 tablespoons (to taste)
- Whipped cream

Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.
- While the milk is heating, in a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and ground chili powder until well blended.
- Once the milk is heated, add the spice mixture, vanilla extract, and honey (or sugar) to the hot milk. Whisk vigorously until everything is well combined and frothy.
- Add the espresso or strong coffee to the spiced milk mixture, stirring gently until fully incorporated.
- Pour the Spiced Aztec Latte into mugs, filling them about three-quarters full.
- Top each latte generously with whipped cream.
