
Spicy Beef Tacos
These spicy beef tacos are filled with flavorful seasoned ground beef, topped with fresh toppings, and served in warm tortillas.
Ingredients
- Lime (1, cut into wedges)
- Sour cream (1/2 cup)
- Cilantro (1/4 cup, chopped)
- Avocado (1, sliced)
- Tomato (1 medium, diced)
- Lettuce (1 cup, shredded)
- Tortillas (8)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Cayenne pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
- Paprika (1 teaspoon)
- Cumin (1 teaspoon)
- Chili powder (1 tablespoon)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Onion (1 medium, diced)
- Ground beef (1 pound)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook until the onion is softened.
- Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well to coat the beef and onion mixture with the spices. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or in the oven.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a scoop of the spicy beef mixture onto each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, and a dollop of sour cream.
- Serve the spicy beef tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.
