Ingredients
- Nutmeg (1/4 teaspoon)
- Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- Cheddar cheese (1 cup, shredded)
- Milk (1 cup)
- Eggs (4)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Onion (1/2 medium, diced)
- Spinach (2 cups, chopped)
- Bacon (6 slices, cooked and crumbled)
- Pie crust (1 (9-inch))
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and crumble into small pieces.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
- Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted. Remove from heat.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg.
- Spread the cooked spinach mixture evenly over the pie crust.
- Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the spinach.
- Pour the egg mixture over the spinach and bacon.
