
Spinach and Goat Cheese Tart
This delicious spinach and goat cheese tart is a perfect combination of flavors and textures.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Milk (1/2 cup)
- Eggs (3)
- Goat cheese (4 oz, crumbled)
- Spinach (6 cups, fresh)
- Frozen puff pastry (1 sheet, thawed)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet and place it in a tart pan.
- Prick the bottom of the pastry with a fork and bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- In a large skillet, sauté the spinach and garlic until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the sautéed spinach evenly over the baked puff pastry.
- Crumble the goat cheese over the spinach.
- Pour the egg mixture over the spinach and cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the tart is set and golden brown.
- Allow the tart to cool slightly before serving.
