Spinach and Goat Cheese Tart

This delicious spinach and goat cheese tart is a perfect combination of flavors and textures.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Milk (1/2 cup)
  • Eggs (3)
  • Goat cheese (4 oz, crumbled)
  • Spinach (6 cups, fresh)
  • Frozen puff pastry (1 sheet, thawed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and place it in a tart pan.
  3. Prick the bottom of the pastry with a fork and bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  4. In a large skillet, sauté the spinach and garlic until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Spread the sautéed spinach evenly over the baked puff pastry.
  7. Crumble the goat cheese over the spinach.
  8. Pour the egg mixture over the spinach and cheese.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the tart is set and golden brown.
  10. Allow the tart to cool slightly before serving.
