
Spinach and Mushroom Quiche
This delicious spinach and mushroom quiche is made with a flaky crust, creamy filling, and flavorful vegetables.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Cheddar cheese (1 cup, shredded)
- Milk (1 cup)
- Eggs (4)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Onion (1/2 cup, chopped)
- Mushrooms (1 cup, sliced)
- Spinach (2 cups, fresh or frozen)
- Pie crust (1, store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crust and press it into a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, and cook until softened.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become tender.
- Add the spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the spinach and mushroom mixture evenly over the pie crust.
- Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the crust is golden brown.
- Allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
