- Flank steak
- 1 lb, thinly sliced against the grain
- Mushrooms

- Garlic
- 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger
- 1 tablespoon, grated
- Sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup
- Red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)

Instructions
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the sliced flank steak to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and just cooked through. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms release their moisture and start to brown.
- Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir constantly for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return the cooked steak to the skillet and pour in the soy sauce. Toss everything together to coat the steak and mushrooms evenly with the sauce.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the steak to reach your desired level of doneness.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting the seasoning as necessary.
