Steelhead with Lemon Butter Sauce

This delicious steelhead trout is pan-seared to perfection and served with a tangy lemon butter sauce.

Ingredients

  • Fresh parsley (1 tablespoon, chopped)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Butter (2 tablespoons)
  • Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
  • Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Steelhead trout fillets (2 fillets)

Instructions

  1. Season the steelhead trout fillets with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter.
  3. Once the butter has melted, add the steelhead trout fillets to the skillet, skin side down.
  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Add the lemon juice to the skillet and stir to combine with the garlic and butter.
  8. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has slightly thickened.
  9. Pour the lemon butter sauce over the cooked steelhead trout fillets.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
