
Steelhead with Lemon Butter Sauce
This delicious steelhead trout is pan-seared to perfection and served with a tangy lemon butter sauce.
Ingredients
- Fresh parsley (1 tablespoon, chopped)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Butter (2 tablespoons)
- Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
- Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- Steelhead trout fillets (2 fillets)
Instructions
- Season the steelhead trout fillets with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter.
- Once the butter has melted, add the steelhead trout fillets to the skillet, skin side down.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the lemon juice to the skillet and stir to combine with the garlic and butter.
- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has slightly thickened.
- Pour the lemon butter sauce over the cooked steelhead trout fillets.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
