
Street Tacos
These delicious street tacos are filled with flavorful marinated meat, fresh toppings, and a squeeze of lime.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Chili powder (1 teaspoon)
- Cumin (1 teaspoon)
- Sour cream (1/4 cup)
- Salsa (1/2 cup)
- Avocado (1, sliced)
- Radishes (1/2 cup, thinly sliced)
- Onion (1/2 cup, diced)
- Cilantro (1/2 cup, chopped)
- Lime (1, cut into wedges)
- Corn tortillas (12)
- Flank steak (1 pound)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the flank steak and let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the flank steak for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Slice the steak into thin strips against the grain.
- Warm the corn tortillas on the grill or in a dry skillet.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a few slices of steak on each tortilla.
- Top with diced onion, sliced radishes, chopped cilantro, avocado slices, salsa, and a squeeze of lime juice.
- Serve the street tacos with sour cream and additional lime wedges on the side.
