- Bell peppers

- Vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon
- Ketchup
- 1/4 cup
- Maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons
- Soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons
- Tempeh
- 8 ounces, sliced
- Water
- 1/4 cup
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, ketchup, cornstarch, and water until smooth to create the sweet and sour sauce.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced tempeh and cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
