Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, sautéing them until they release their aromatic fragrances, about 1 minute.
- Introduce the shredded cabbage, julienned red bell pepper, and carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry these vibrant vegetables for 5-7 minutes, until they reach a tender-crisp state.
- While the vegetables are cooking, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, and Sriracha sauce until well blended.
- Pour the sweet and spicy sauce over the stir-fried vegetables, ensuring an even coating. Allow the dish to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, enabling the vegetables to soak up the flavors of the sauce.
- Season the dish with salt to taste.
- Remove the skillet from heat, and garnish your Sweet and Spicy Cabbage Stir Fry with a sprinkling of sliced green onions and sesame seeds for an additional crunch and pop of flavor.
- Serve this dish hot as a side dish with your favorite main course. The bold flavors and crisp texture make it a great accompaniment to grilled meats or tofu.
