Ingredients

Original recipe serves 2

Yogurt
1 cup, plain and unsweetened
Water
1/2 cup, or more for desired consistency
Sugar
2-4 tablespoons, adjust to taste
Cardamom powder
1/4 teaspoon
Ice cubes
as needed
Chopped fruit (optional)
1/2 cup, like mango or strawberries
Chopped mint leaves (optional)
1 tablespoon, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the yogurt, water, sugar, and cardamom powder.
  2. Blend the mixture on high until it becomes frothy and well combined. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  3. Add ice cubes to the blender and blend again for a few seconds until the ice is crushed and incorporated.
  4. If using, add the chopped fruit and blend briefly to combine without completely pureeing it.
  5. Pour the lassi into glasses. Garnish with chopped mint leaves if desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy chilled.
