
Swiss Chard and Ham Frittata
This delicious frittata combines Swiss chard, ham, and cheese for a flavorful and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Cheddar cheese (1 cup, shredded)
- Milk (1/4 cup)
- Eggs (8)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Onion (1 medium, diced)
- Ham (1 cup, diced)
- Swiss chard (1 bunch, stems removed and leaves chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Add the Swiss chard and cook until wilted, about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, covering the Swiss chard and onion mixture.
- Sprinkle the diced ham and shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the frittata is set and the cheese is melted and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
