Servings: 4

Ingredients

Swordfish steaks
4 (6-ounce)
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Lime juice
1 tablespoon
Salt
1/2 teaspoon, divided
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
Mango
1, peeled and diced
Red bell pepper
1, diced
Red onion
1/2, finely chopped
Cilantro leaves
1/4 cup, chopped
Jalapeno
1, seeded and finely chopped
Lime zest
zest of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 450°F.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and black pepper. This mixture will be used to baste the swordfish steaks.
  3. Brush both sides of the swordfish steaks with the olive oil mixture.
  4. Grill the swordfish steaks for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish is opaque and easily flakes with a fork.
  5. While the swordfish is grilling, prepare the mango salsa. In a medium bowl, combine the diced mango, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime zest, and the remaining 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Mix well to combine.
  6. Once the swordfish is cooked, remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  7. Serve the grilled swordfish steaks topped with a generous scoop of the mango salsa. Enjoy your light, refreshing, and flavorful meal!
