Ingredients
- Swordfish steaks
- 4 (6-ounce)
- Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Lime juice
- 1 tablespoon
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon, divided
- Black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon
- Mango
- 1, peeled and diced
- Red bell pepper
- 1, diced
- Red onion
- 1/2, finely chopped
- Cilantro leaves
- 1/4 cup, chopped
- Jalapeno
- 1, seeded and finely chopped
- Lime zest
- zest of 1 lime
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 450°F.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and black pepper. This mixture will be used to baste the swordfish steaks.
- Brush both sides of the swordfish steaks with the olive oil mixture.
- Grill the swordfish steaks for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish is opaque and easily flakes with a fork.
- While the swordfish is grilling, prepare the mango salsa. In a medium bowl, combine the diced mango, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime zest, and the remaining 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Mix well to combine.
- Once the swordfish is cooked, remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
