Authentic Baja-Style Fish Tacos

Ingredients
- 1 cup Sour cream
- 8 Taco shells
- 2 cups, shredded Cabbage
- 3 tablespoons Lime juice
- 1/4 cup, chopped Fresh cilantro
- 2 medium, diced Tomatoes
- 1 medium, finely chopped Onion
- 2 cloves, minced Garlic
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 1 lb, preferably white fish like cod or tilapia Fish fillets

Instructions
- Season the fish fillets on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the fish and cook until it's golden brown and flakes easily with a fork, about 5 minutes per side.
- Remove the fish from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add the garlic, onion, and tomatoes. Cook until the onions are translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the lime juice and chopped cilantro, then remove the skillet from the heat.
- Fold in the shredded cabbage until it's well-coated in the tomato and onion mixture.
- Heat the taco shells according to the package instructions.
- Assemble the tacos by dividing the fish among the shells, then topping with the cabbage mixture and a dollop of sour cream. Serve warm with extra lime wedges on the side.
Tips
- For an added kick, add some jalapeno or serrano peppers to the tomato and onion mixture.
- For a lighter version, you can use lettuce leaves instead of taco shells.
- If you're not a fan of sour cream, try topping your tacos with guacamole or salsa instead.
