Servings: 4

Ingredients

Beef steak
1 lb, thinly sliced
Yogurt
1 cup, plain
Lemon juice
2 tablespoons
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Ginger
1 tablespoon, grated
Tandoori masala
2 tablespoons
Paprika
1 teaspoon
Cumin
1 teaspoon
Coriander
1 teaspoon
Turmeric
1/2 teaspoon
Salt
1 teaspoon
Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons, for brushing
Lemon wedges
for serving
Fresh cilantro
for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, paprika, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and salt. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade, making sure each piece is well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  4. Remove the marinated beef from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  5. If using a grill, thread the beef slices onto skewers. If using an oven, arrange the beef slices on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
  6. Brush the beef slices with vegetable oil to prevent sticking and enhance the flavor.
  7. Grill the beef skewers or bake in the oven for approximately 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the beef reaches your desired level of doneness.
  8. Once cooked, remove the beef from the grill or oven and let it rest for a few minutes to retain its juices.
  9. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with lemon wedges.
