Servings: 4

Ingredients

Beef sirloin
1.5 pounds, cut into 1-inch cubes
Plain yogurt
1 cup
Lemon juice
2 tablespoons
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Ginger
1 tablespoon, grated
Tandoori masala
2 tablespoons
Paprika
1 teaspoon
Cumin
1 teaspoon
Coriander
1 teaspoon
Salt
1 teaspoon
Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons (for grilling)
Fresh cilantro
for garnish
Lemon wedges
for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, paprika, cumin, coriander, and salt. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for optimal flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto skewers, ensuring there’s a little space between each piece for even cooking.
  5. Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking. Place the kebabs on the grill and cook for approximately 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef reaches your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes to retain their juices.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lemon wedges on the side, along with the mint yogurt sauce for dipping.
  8. Enjoy your Tandoori Beef Kebabs with warm naan or rice for a complete meal!
