Tandoori Fish Tikka

Tandoori Fish Tikka is a delicious Indian appetizer made with marinated fish pieces cooked in a tandoor or oven.

Ingredients

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
  • Oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Coriander powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Cumin powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Red chili powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Tandoori masala (2 tablespoons)
  • Ginger (garlic paste - 1 tablespoon)
  • Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
  • Yogurt (1/2 cup)
  • Fish fillets (500 grams)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, tandoori masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to make the marinade.
  2. Add the fish fillets to the marinade and coat them well. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the marinated fish fillets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle oil over the fish fillets.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and slightly charred.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  8. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
