
Tandoori Fish Tikka
Tandoori Fish Tikka is a delicious Indian appetizer made with marinated fish pieces cooked in a tandoor or oven.
Ingredients
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
- Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
- Oil (2 tablespoons)
- Salt (to taste)
- Coriander powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Cumin powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Red chili powder (1 teaspoon)
- Tandoori masala (2 tablespoons)
- Ginger (garlic paste - 1 tablespoon)
- Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
- Yogurt (1/2 cup)
- Fish fillets (500 grams)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, tandoori masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to make the marinade.
- Add the fish fillets to the marinade and coat them well. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the marinated fish fillets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle oil over the fish fillets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and slightly charred.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges.
