Servings: 4-6
Ingredients
- Fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Chaat masala
- 1 tablespoon
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon
- Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons
- Lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon
- Tandoori masala
- 2 tablespoons
- Yogurt
- 1/2 cup
- Ripe guavas
- 4-6, depending on size
Instructions
- Begin by washing the guavas thoroughly. Cut them into halves and carefully remove the seeds.
- Prepare the marinade by combining the yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and chaat masala in a large bowl. Stir well until all the ingredients are blended together.
- Immerse the guava halves in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl and allow the guavas to marinate for at least 30 minutes. For a more intense flavor, you can leave them to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If you're using a charcoal grill, wait until the coals are covered with white ash.
- Place the marinated guava halves on the grill. Grill them for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they are slightly charred and tender.
- Remove the guavas from the grill and garnish with freshly chopped cilantro.
- Serve hot as an appetizer or snack. Enjoy this unique twist on a traditional tandoori dish!
