Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Halve the peaches and carefully remove the pits without damaging the flesh of the fruit.
- In a bowl, combine the yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, and salt to form a smooth marinade.
- Coat each peach half evenly with the tandoori marinade. Leave them to marinate for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Place the marinated peaches cut side down on the grill. Grill them for approximately 4-5 minutes per side. The peaches should have slight char marks and a softened texture.
- Remove the peaches from the grill and allow them to cool slightly.
- Sprinkle the grilled peaches with freshly chopped cilantro and serve while still warm. Enjoy as a unique appetizer or a sweet-spicy dessert.
Tips
- Using ripe but firm peaches will give the best results as they hold up well on the grill.
- You can add a touch of honey or maple syrup to the marinade if you prefer a sweeter taste.
- For a vegan option, replace the yogurt with a plant-based yogurt alternative.
