Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, tandoori masala, turmeric, cayenne pepper, and salt. Stir until well blended to create the marinade.
- Add the sardines to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes. For a deeper flavor, consider refrigerating the sardines in the marinade overnight.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil. This prevents the sardines from sticking during the grilling process.
- Place the marinated sardines on the grill. Cook for approximately 3-4 minutes per side, or until the sardines are thoroughly cooked and slightly charred.
