This culinary delight features a delicate, crispy crust meticulously spread with velvety crème fraîche, savory lardons of bacon, and sweet, caramelized onions. Topped with nutty Gruyère cheese and a sprinkle of fresh chives, each bite bursts with flavor, making it a perfect appetizer or light meal to share with friends and family. Often served with a glass of crisp white wine, Tarte Flambée embodies the essence of rustic French cooking, inviting everyone to indulge in its deliciousness.

  3. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet or a preheated pizza stone.
  4. Spread the crème fraîche evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Evenly distribute the sliced onions and chopped bacon over the crème fraîche.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Gruyère cheese on top of the bacon and onions.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
