
Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich
This delicious teriyaki chicken sandwich is made with grilled chicken, tangy teriyaki sauce, and fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Mayonnaise (2 tablespoons)
- Hamburger buns (2)
- Tomato (1, sliced)
- Lettuce leaves (4)
- Red onion (1/2, thinly sliced)
- Pineapple slices (4)
- Teriyaki sauce (1/4 cup)
- Chicken breast (2 boneless, skinless)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Brush the teriyaki sauce onto the chicken during the last few minutes of grilling.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or two.
- Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place a lettuce leaf on top of the mayonnaise.
- Add a grilled chicken breast on top of the lettuce.
- Top with pineapple slices, red onion, and tomato slices.
- Cover with the top half of the bun.
