Tiramisu Cheesecake

This Tiramisu Cheesecake combines the flavors of classic tiramisu with a creamy cheesecake.

Ingredients

  • Whipped cream (1 cup)
  • Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
  • Cocoa powder (2 tablespoons)
  • Kahlua or coffee liqueur (1/4 cup)
  • Strong brewed coffee (1/2 cup)
  • Mascarpone cheese (1 cup)
  • Eggs (3)
  • Sugar (1 cup)
  • Cream cheese (16 oz (450g))
  • Ladyfingers (24)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a food processor, crush the ladyfingers until they resemble fine crumbs.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Add the mascarpone cheese, brewed coffee, Kahlua or coffee liqueur, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  6. Grease a 9-inch (23cm) springform pan and press the crushed ladyfingers into the bottom to form the crust.
  7. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are slightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the cheesecake to set.
  11. Before serving, spread whipped cream over the top of the cheesecake and dust with cocoa powder.
  12. Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy!
