Toasted Ravioli

Ingredients
- Cheese ravioli
- 1 pound
- Eggs
- 2
- Whole milk
- 1/4 cup
- Breadcrumbs
- 1 cup
- Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup
- Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil
- enough for frying
- Marinara sauce
- 1.5 cups
Instructions
- Cook the cheese ravioli according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain well and allow it to cool.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.
- In a separate shallow bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and salt.
- Dip each cooled ravioli into the egg and milk mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Then dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat this step until all ravioli are breaded.
- In a large skillet, heat enough vegetable oil over medium heat to fully submerge the ravioli.
- Fry the breaded ravioli in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the skillet. Cook each side until golden brown, approximately 3 minutes per side.
- Once fried, drain the toasted ravioli on paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
- Serve the toasted ravioli hot, accompanied by marinara sauce for a tangy, delectable dip.
