Ingredients
- Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
- Lemongrass (2 stalks, finely minced)
- Fish sauce (3 tablespoons)
- Honey (2 tablespoons)
- Lime juice (juice of 1 lime)
- Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
- Vegetable oil (2 tablespoons)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Shrimp (1 pound, peeled and deveined)
- Cilantro (a handful, chopped (for garnish))
- Lime wedges (to serve)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine minced garlic, finely minced lemongrass, fish sauce, honey, lime juice, soy sauce, vegetable oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. This will serve as your marinade.
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the bowl. Toss until the shrimp are well-coated with the marinade. Let the shrimp marinate for at least 15 minutes, or for even more flavor, up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. While the grill heats up, thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
- Place the shrimp skewers on the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are cooked through and have a slight char.
