Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and crispy. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, minced garlic, parsley, basil, the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure an even coating.
  5. Let the tomato and cucumber mixture sit for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  6. Once the baguette slices are toasted, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  7. Top each toasted baguette slice generously with a spoonful of the tomato and cucumber mixture.
  8. Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor. Enjoy!

Tips

  • 💡 For a more intense flavor, try adding a sprinkle of feta cheese on top of the bruschetta.
  • 💡 You can substitute the baguette with ciabatta or whole grain bread for a different twist.
  • 💡 Feel free to add a hint of chili flakes for a spicy kick!
