
Tomato and Cucumber Chutney
This refreshing chutney is made with ripe tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, and a blend of aromatic spices.
Ingredients
- Sugar (1/2 teaspoon)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- Ground coriander (1 teaspoon)
- Ground cumin (1 teaspoon)
- Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
- Fresh cilantro (1/4 cup, chopped)
- Green chili (1, finely chopped)
- Red onion (1 small, finely chopped)
- Cucumbers (2 medium, diced)
- Tomatoes (4 medium, diced)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, green chili, and fresh cilantro.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and sugar.
- Pour the dressing over the tomato and cucumber mixture and toss well to combine.
