Celery stalks
2, for garnish
Ice cubes
as needed
Tabasco sauce
1/4 teaspoon or to taste
Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon or to taste
Salt
1/4 teaspoon or to taste
Lemon juice
2 tablespoons, fresh
Ripe tomatoes
8 large

Instructions

  1. Start by thoroughly washing the tomatoes. Once clean, cut them into quarters.
  2. Put the quartered tomatoes in a blender and blend until they are smoothly pureed.
  3. Pour the tomato puree through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl. Use a spoon to press down and extract as much juice as possible, leaving the seeds and pulp behind in the sieve.
  4. Add the fresh lemon juice, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco sauce to the strained tomato juice. Stir these ingredients well to combine all the flavors.
  5. Take your glasses and fill each with ice cubes. Pour the spicy tomato juice over the ice, filling up to the brim.
  6. Finally, garnish each glass with a celery stalk. Your homemade spicy tomato juice is ready to serve. Enjoy it chilled for the best experience.
