Lime
1, cut into wedges
Fresh cilantro
1/4 cup, chopped
Cheese (Queso Fresco or Monterey Jack)
1 cup, shredded
Jalapeño
1, sliced (adjust based on spice preference)
Onion
1/2, thinly sliced
Lettuce
1 cup, shredded
Tomato
1, sliced
Avocado
1, sliced
Refried beans
1 cup
Mayonnaise
1/4 cup
Crusty bread rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the bread rolls in half lengthwise and spread mayonnaise generously on both sides.
  3. Spread a layer of refried beans on the bottom half of each roll.
  4. Layer the avocado, tomato, lettuce, onion, jalapeño, and cheese on top of the beans, adding fresh cilantro for an aromatic finish.
  5. Place the filled rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted to a golden brown.
