Beef tenderloin
400g, sliced into 1-inch thick pieces
Goat cheese
200g, sliced
Crusty bread
4 slices, preferably baguette or ciabatta
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Garlic
2 cloves, minced
Fresh parsley
2 tablespoons, chopped
Salt
to taste
Black pepper
to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Season the beef tenderloin slices generously with salt and black pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Carefully place the seasoned beef tenderloin slices in the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. While the beef is cooking, arrange the slices of crusty bread on a baking sheet.
  6. Once the beef is cooked, place a slice of beef tenderloin on each piece of bread, followed by a slice of goat cheese.
