These crispy chicken tostadas are topped with flavorful shredded chicken, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and avocado.
Ingredients
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Lime (1, juiced)
- Cilantro (1/4 cup, chopped)
- Sour cream (1/2 cup)
- Avocado (1, sliced)
- Cheese (1 cup, shredded)
- Tomatoes (2, diced)
- Lettuce (2 cups, shredded)
- Refried beans (1 cup)
- Chicken breasts (2, cooked and shredded)
- Corn tortillas (8)
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the corn tortillas one at a time until crispy and golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken with salt, pepper, and lime juice.
- Spread a layer of refried beans on each crispy tortilla.
- Top with shredded chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, avocado, sour cream, and cilantro.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
