Ingredients

Canned tuna
2 cans (5 oz each), drained
Breadcrumbs
1 cup
Egg
1, beaten
Green onions
2, finely chopped
Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Pepper
1/4 teaspoon
Olive oil
2 tablespoons (for frying)
Buns
4, for serving
Lettuce
4 leaves, for topping
Tomato
1, sliced (for topping)
Tartar sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, chopped green onions, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture holds together.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and gently shape each portion into a patty, about 1 inch thick.
