Ingredients
- Canned tuna
 - 2 cans (5 ounces each), drained
 - Mayonnaise
 - 1/4 cup
 - Celery
 - 1/2 cup, finely chopped
 - Red onion
 - 1/4 cup, finely chopped
 - Lemon juice
 - 1 tablespoon
 - Salt
 - to taste
 - Black pepper
 - to taste
 - Lettuce
 - 4 leaves
 - Tomato
 - 1 large, sliced
 - Bread
 - 4 slices (whole grain or your preferred type)
 
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the drained canned tuna, mayonnaise, finely chopped celery, finely chopped red onion, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined and creamy.
 - Toast the bread slices to your desired level of crispiness.
 - On two slices of toasted bread, place a leaf of lettuce and two slices of tomato.
 - Evenly divide the tuna mixture on top of the tomato slices.
 - Top with the remaining slices of toasted bread to create the sandwiches.
 - Slice the sandwiches in half, if desired, and serve immediately for the best taste.
