
Tuna Sandwich
This classic tuna sandwich is made with canned tuna, mayonnaise, and fresh vegetables.
Ingredients
- Tomato (4 slices)
- Lettuce (4 leaves)
- Bread (4 slices)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
- Red onion (1/4 cup, diced)
- Celery (1/4 cup, diced)
- Mayonnaise (2 tablespoons)
- Canned tuna (1 can, drained)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the canned tuna, mayonnaise, celery, red onion, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well.
- Toast the bread slices.
- Place a lettuce leaf and two tomato slices on two of the bread slices.
- Divide the tuna mixture between the two sandwiches.
- Top with the remaining bread slices.
- Serve immediately.
