This refreshing tuna tartare is made with fresh sushi-grade tuna, avocado, and a tangy citrus dressing.
Ingredients
- Sesame seeds (1 tablespoon, for garnish)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Sesame oil (1 teaspoon)
- Soy sauce (1 tablespoon)
- Lime juice (2 tablespoons)
- Fresh cilantro (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Cucumber (1/4 cup, finely chopped)
- Red onion (1/4 cup, finely chopped)
- Avocado (1, diced)
- Sushi (grade tuna - 8 ounces, diced)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the diced tuna, avocado, red onion, cucumber, and cilantro.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and gently toss to combine.
