Tuna Tartare

This refreshing tuna tartare is made with fresh sushi-grade tuna, avocado, and a tangy citrus dressing.

Ingredients

  • Sesame seeds (1 tablespoon, for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Sesame oil (1 teaspoon)
  • Soy sauce (1 tablespoon)
  • Lime juice (2 tablespoons)
  • Fresh cilantro (2 tablespoons, chopped)
  • Cucumber (1/4 cup, finely chopped)
  • Red onion (1/4 cup, finely chopped)
  • Avocado (1, diced)
  • Sushi (grade tuna - 8 ounces, diced)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the diced tuna, avocado, red onion, cucumber, and cilantro.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and gently toss to combine.
  4. Divide the tuna tartare into serving bowls or plates.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
