Servings: 2
Ingredients
- Eggs (4 large)
- Turkey breast, cooked and diced (1 cup)
- Cheddar cheese, shredded (1/2 cup)
- Butter (2 tablespoons)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (2 tablespoons)
- Salt (1/4 teaspoon)
- Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
- Hot sauce (optional) (to taste)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add salt and black pepper. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is well combined and slightly frothy.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt and coat the bottom of the pan.
- Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet, tilting the pan to ensure the eggs spread evenly. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the edges begin to set and the bottom is lightly golden.
- Once the edges are set, sprinkle the diced turkey and shredded cheddar cheese evenly over one half of the omelette.
- Carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the filling, pressing down gently with a spatula. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through.
- Slide the omelette onto a plate, garnish with fresh parsley, and drizzle with hot sauce if desired. Serve hot.
