Servings: 2

Ingredients

Eggs
4 large
Turkey breast, cooked and diced
1 cup
Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup
Butter
2 tablespoons
Fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons
Salt
1/4 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
Hot sauce (optional)
to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add salt and black pepper. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is well combined and slightly frothy.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt and coat the bottom of the pan.
  3. Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet, tilting the pan to ensure the eggs spread evenly. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the edges begin to set and the bottom is lightly golden.
  4. Once the edges are set, sprinkle the diced turkey and shredded cheddar cheese evenly over one half of the omelette.
  5. Carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the filling, pressing down gently with a spatula. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through.
  6. Slide the omelette onto a plate, garnish with fresh parsley, and drizzle with hot sauce if desired. Serve hot.
