Ingredients

Original recipe serves 4

Bread
8 slices
Mustard
4 tablespoons
Mayonnaise
4 tablespoons
Tomato
2, medium, sliced
Lettuce
8 leaves
Avocado
2, ripe, sliced
Turkey bacon
8 slices
Turkey breast
8 slices

Instructions

  1. Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey bacon and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. While the bacon is cooking, toast the bread slices in a toaster until they are a golden brown.
  3. Spread 1/2 tablespoon of mayonnaise and 1/2 tablespoon of mustard on one side of each toasted bread slice.
  4. On half of the bread slices, layer 1 slice of turkey bacon, 1/4 of the avocado slices, 2 lettuce leaves, and 2 tomato slices.
  5. Top with a slice of turkey breast, and then cover with the remaining bread slices, spread-side down.
  6. Cut each sandwich in half diagonally and serve immediately.
