Italian Turkey Meatballs with Zoodles

Ingredients
- Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup, grated
- Marinara sauce
- 2 cups
- Zucchini
- 4, medium-sized
- Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper

- Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon
- Garlic
- 3 cloves, minced
- Egg
- 1
- Ground turkey
- 1 pound
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix until the ingredients are well incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and set them aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs to the skillet and cook, turning occasionally, until they are evenly browned, about 10 minutes.
- Pour the marinara sauce into the skillet with the meatballs. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer, stirring occasionally, until the meatballs are cooked through, about 10 more minutes.
- While the meatballs are simmering, use a spiralizer to turn the zucchini into noodles.
- Place the zoodles on plates, top with the turkey meatballs and sauce, and sprinkle with the grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
