Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to create a flavorful marinade.
- Add the cubed meat to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well-coated. Marinate for at least 1 hour, or for optimal flavor, leave overnight in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Assemble your skewers by threading the marinated meat cubes, alternating with pieces of bell peppers, chunks of red onion, and cherry tomatoes.
- Grill the assembled kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking. The meat should be cooked to your preference and the vegetables tender.
- Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the grill and allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.
- Serve the flavorful Turkish shish kebabs alongside a bed of aromatic rice, fresh salad, and a tangy side of tzatziki sauce. Enjoy the taste of Turkey in your own home!
