This delightful blend of aromatic basil, rich pine nuts, and sharp Parmesan cheese creates a sauce that's perfect for elevating your pasta dishes, spreading on crusty bread, or serving as a fresh dip for crisp vegetables. Originating from the heart of Italy, pesto has roots that date back to ancient Roman times, where it was known as 'pestare,' meaning 'to pound.' This version captures the essence of traditional Italian cooking while offering a burst of freshness in every bite.
