Servings: 4

Ingredients

Salmon fillets
4 (6-ounce) fillets
Olive oil
1/4 cup
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Lemon
1, juiced and zested
Fresh dill
1/4 cup, chopped
Salt
1 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the chopped dill, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to create a flavorful marinade.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish, skin-side down if applicable, and pour the marinade evenly over the fillets, ensuring they are well-coated.
  4. Cover the baking dish with foil and let the salmon marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to deeply infuse the fish.
  5. After marinating, remove the foil and place the salmon in the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. For a crispy top, switch to broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of baking, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
  7. Serve the Uunilohi hot, garnished with additional fresh dill and lemon slices. This dish pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables or a fresh garden salad.
