Servings: 1

Ingredients

Espresso
1 shot
Milk
1 cup
Vanilla syrup
1 tablespoon
Cocoa powder
1 teaspoon, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brew a shot of espresso using an espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching.
  3. Using a milk frother or whisk, froth the heated milk until it becomes creamy and foamy. If you don't have a frother, you can shake the milk in a sealed jar until foamy, then microwave it for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour the hot espresso into a large mug and stir in the vanilla syrup until well combined.
  5. Slowly pour the frothed milk over the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon to create layers.
  6. Top the cappuccino with the remaining foam and sprinkle cocoa powder on top for an elegant finish.
  7. Serve immediately while hot, and enjoy the rich flavors!
