Ingredients

Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Ginger
1 tablespoon, grated
Broccoli
2 cups, cut into florets
Carrots
2 medium, sliced thinly
Bell peppers
1 cup, sliced (red, yellow, or green)
Snap peas
1 cup, trimmed
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
Honey
1 tablespoon
Cornstarch
1 tablespoon
Water
2 tablespoons
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste
Green onions
2, sliced for garnish
Sesame seeds
1 tablespoon, toasted for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, taking care not to burn the garlic.
  3. Add the broccoli florets, sliced carrots, bell peppers, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender and vibrant.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, cornstarch, water, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Pour the sauce over the stir-fried vegetables and stir well to coat evenly. Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
