
Vegetable Stir Fry
This vegetable stir fry is a quick and healthy dish packed with colorful vegetables and flavorful sauce.
Ingredients
- Green onions (2 stalks, sliced, for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (1 tablespoon, for garnish)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Water (1/4 cup)
- Cornstarch (1 tablespoon)
- Honey (1 tablespoon)
- Sesame oil (1 tablespoon)
- Soy sauce (3 tablespoons)
- Snap peas (1 cup)
- Bell peppers (2 medium, sliced)
- Carrots (2 medium, sliced)
- Broccoli (2 cups, florets)
- Ginger (1 tablespoon, grated)
- Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
- Vegetable oil (2 tablespoons)
Instructions
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, cornstarch, water, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the vegetables in the skillet and stir to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
