- Vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Garlic
- 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger
- 1 tablespoon, grated
- Broccoli
- 2 cups, cut into florets
- Carrots
- 2 medium, sliced thinly
- Bell peppers
- 1 cup, sliced (red, yellow, or green)
- Snap peas
- 1 cup, trimmed
- Sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons
- Honey
- 1 tablespoon
- Cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon
- Water
- 2 tablespoons
- Salt
- to taste
- Pepper
- to taste
- Green onions
- 2, sliced for garnish
- Sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon, toasted for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, taking care not to burn the garlic.
- Add the broccoli florets, sliced carrots, bell peppers, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender and vibrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, cornstarch, water, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pour the sauce over the stir-fried vegetables and stir well to coat evenly. Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
- Remove from heat and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
