Ingredients
- 4 Hamburger buns

- 1 tablespoon Mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
- 1 cup Tomato sauce
- 2 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1, diced Bell pepper
- 1, diced Onion
- 2 cups Plant-based protein crumbles

Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a dash of oil.
- Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir frequently and cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the plant-based protein crumbles to the skillet. Cook until heated through, according to package instructions.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper to create the tangy sauce.
- Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the cooked vegetables and protein crumbles. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld together.
- In the meantime, toast the hamburger buns if desired.
- Carefully spoon the vegetarian sloppy joe mixture onto the bottom half of each toasted bun.
