Ingredients
- Whole wheat bread
- 4 slices
- Cream cheese
- 4 tablespoons, softened
- Cucumber
- 1 medium, thinly sliced
- Tomato
- 1 medium, thinly sliced
- Avocado
- 1 ripe, pitted and thinly sliced
- Lettuce leaves
- 4 large
- Salt

- Black pepper

Instructions
- Start by preparing all the vegetables. Thinly slice the cucumber, tomato, and avocado. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves.
- Spread a generous tablespoon of softened cream cheese on one side of each slice of whole wheat bread.
- On two of the bread slices, layer the cucumber slices, tomato slices, and avocado slices. Top each with a large lettuce leaf.
- Season the vegetables with salt and pepper to your liking.
- Cover the vegetables with the two remaining bread slices, cream cheese side down.
- Press gently to adhere the ingredients together. Then, using a sharp knife, cut each sandwich in half diagonally.
- Serve immediately for the freshest taste, or wrap tightly in plastic wrap for an easy on-the-go lunch.
