Pizza dough
1 (store-bought or homemade)
Tomato sauce
1 cup
Zucchini
1 medium, sliced
Red bell pepper
1, sliced
Yellow bell pepper
1, sliced
Red onion
1 small, thinly sliced
Feta cheese
1 cup, crumbled
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Fresh basil
1/4 cup, chopped (for garnish)
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up as well.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, about 1/4 inch thick for a crispy crust.
  3. Carefully transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or to the preheated pizza stone.
  4. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
  5. Arrange the sliced zucchini, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, and red onion evenly on top of the sauce.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese generously over the vegetables.
  7. Drizzle the olive oil over the entire pizza and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh basil before slicing.
